Choose the accounts it learns from.
Select the accounts, Sent folders, and time periods used for writing-style analysis. Review, refresh, remove, or disable the resulting profiles.
Style analysis is local; generating a reply is a separate online step that sends the email and permitted context through LittleDraft to OpenAI.
Control your reference material.
Saved references and writing profiles are encrypted on your Mac, with keys protected by macOS Keychain. Assign references to accounts and review which excerpts can support a reply.
The separate knowledge view requires Touch ID or Mac authentication. Choose Library retention of 7, 30, or 90 days, or keep items until you delete them.
Permissions follow the features you use.
Apple Mail automation supports reading selected messages and learning from chosen Sent folders. Accessibility enables supported interactions with Mail, including placing text in a draft.
Capture Context, available with Pro, requires separate Screen Recording permission: it recognises visible text locally and saves the text, without retaining screenshot images. Review each permission and how to change it.
Enable automatic drafting deliberately.
Auto-write can prepare wording as you open a reply; Pro Pre-Drafts can prepare suggestions for eligible new unread emails while LittleDraft runs. Both are optional and can send eligible email content and permitted context to OpenAI within your settings.
For Pre-Drafts, choose up to five accounts, a checking interval, daily limits, and operating hours. Filters help skip newsletters, receipts, and automated messages; sender and domain exclusions give you more control.
Prepared replies still wait for you.
Pre-Drafts are stored encrypted locally for up to 24 hours and require your action before use. LittleDraft does not send emails automatically.
Check the wording, facts, recipients, and references before sending; if direct insertion in Mail isn’t available, copy the suggested reply instead.
Choose website analytics separately.
Optional LittleDraft website analytics and Google Analytics are off until you allow them. Cookie Settings lets you choose them separately or withdraw permission.
LittleDraft’s own analytics estimates visits and counts named clicks using a daily pseudonymous identifier; Google Analytics uses its own cookies. The cookie information page and privacy policy explain the website’s processing.
